Trainers’ Notes

Errata & More Details

When delivering trainings, instructors sometimes notice glitches, typos, wrong information or just certain subjects with too few details that may benefit from a more comprehensive explanation.

Usually, we fix those flaws on-the-fly whilst teaching, so students may not even notice them. Nevertheless, these imperfections or improvable descriptions remain undeited on delegates’ course ebooks until VMware publishes an update.

When prepping new courses, I normally take some reviewing notes as part of the fixing process and to keep track of complementary sources of information. To improve the overall learninig experience, I hence decided to share my notes with everyone who may benefit from them: students or even fellow instructors.

As no one is omniscent and everyone can make mistakes, if you notice any improvable detail in my notes, I would be very grateful if you could share your comments and feedback with me so that I can incorporate your contibution.

Trainers’ Notes is a revamp of a former project – known as “myCourseware Corrections” – that I started long time ago, yet which was laying idle since well before the pandemic beginning: it is now time to give it a new life.

Here I’ll publish, from time to time, new “Errata & More Details” documents for multiple VMware trainings. In each file, that can be downloaded for free, you will find:

  • part number and publishing date (which can be found on page “ii” of the manual) of the VMware Education course ebook my notes refer to;
  • a version history of the document to track all updates;
  • all corrections and notes, grouped by course module, each one with number and title of each slide they refer to.
